“…in this abiding nature that is free from all activity, all things belonging to the truth of the path are naturally complete, without effort, in the manner of a hundred rivers converging under a bridge.” (The Pristine Cognition of the Great Perfection or Maha-Atiyoga)

That binds in many ways all actions elsewhere

Willows, poplars and the sun drenched mystic verdure

Along the edges of her buoyant pilgrim soul

Fulfill the dream of an artist by the wayside

Or, that of lovers embracing each other through words in a postcard

Meditating on the waters in the twilight

The gaze of the soft sun on a pillow of ripples fades away

The moon climbs on her back

Shining like the a copper-dome of a bodhi-monastery

Sings the song of bleeding starlight in the mandala of the Great Ocean, the Void

“When the mind becomes transformed

There is neither vehicle nor mover”

Etihasher patachitre khaniker kaal

Bishwaykar ekti taranga

Baye chale sabujer animesh phalguni sandhay

Hayto ba dekha haabe kono maha-prantare

Jekhane sesh hayechey rajpath o ghar-bari

Suru haay vajra-sattvar Malkaush raag

In a great ocean of infinite possibilities

Widely embracing the worlds,

The Music of the Unborn

Fashioned the wonderful meaning in things…

    Dear Joy,

An Idea: “Following the River to the Limitless Ocean” connects with “On Awakening in the Country from my work, “Three Meditations”. I am presently scoring the work for a chamber group. It can also be performed with piano solo.

I will be sending you an audio copy of the music.

    Let me know your response.

    Peace,

    John
