Dances to the tune of the universe

Which itself He is

The mind and its fluctuations

Which have been the cause of the material existence

Have been transcended by an act of Grace

This is the highest abode of Self-Perfection

There are no strivings, no achievements

No goal no future no past

Only this moment of a pure subjective consciousness

Which is Independent (Swatantrya) of everything

Experiencing itself through many modes

HOW FINLAND IS SAVING THE WORLD FROM STRESS

  • Rent a Finn encourages travellers to learn true happiness from the Finns
  •         Visitors have until 14 April 2019 to apply to visit Finland

Helsinki 18 March 2019: Visit Finland is inviting people from around the world to experience how the Finns live in true harmony with nature through their new initiative, Rent a Finn.

This summer, Finnish citizens will work as happiness guides and welcome visitors into their homes, showing them how to connect with nature and understand the Finnish art of relaxation.

The application period for guests is open until 14 April 2019.

Studies show that nature can balance our minds and alleviate stress. Even a short walk in nature lowers your blood pressure and pulse while boosting endorphin levels. In 2018 the UN ranked Finland as the happiest country in the world*, thanks to its special connection with nature.

Heli Jimenez, Senior Director, International Marketing, Business Finland said: “Many travellers choose to visit Finland because of our uniquely peaceful nature and tranquility. The Rent a Finn campaign is in response to the global travel trend of living like a local, which is all about sharing genuine experiences with ordinary people.

”Pure nature is a part of life in Finland. We go outdoors in any weather, let our babies nap outside and spend a great deal of time in nature in general. Our happiness guides all share a certain awareness, a great love of nature and an appreciation for slow living.”

The Rent a Finn initiative has initially enlisted eight ordinary Finns to work as happiness guides for travellers. The guides, who were chosen from among hundreds of applicants, will welcome visitors for a few days and show them their own ways of relieving stress in nature.

Linda Räihä, one of the happiness guides, explains, “Time runs differently on our island. It seems to slow down somehow, and there is never a need for hurry.”

“There are many ways to connect with nature from working in your vegetable patch, boating, fishing, heating up the sauna or foraging for mushrooms and berries in the forest.”

The visits will take place during summer 2019 and will be free of charge for travellers.

The Rent a Finn initiative is being assisted by Hintsa Performance, a Finnish high-performance coaching company, who believes sustainable performance is created through a balanced lifestyle. Their methods of boosting human performance have been tested in organisations around the world, and their clients range from Fortune 500 leaders to Formula One World Champions.

The Rent a Finn website includes a test based on Hintsa’s methods. It helps you to see how balanced your life really is and offers advice for reducing stress and maintaining your mental wellbeing.

Annastiina Hintsa, Chief Operating Officer from Hintsa Performance said, “Our modern life is full of stimuli, and unwinding can be a challenge. Spending time in nature helps you reset and recover. Seeing where you stand is the first step towards reducing stress and creating long-term performance”.

You can apply for a visit with a Finnish happiness guide now at rentafinn.com and for more information on Finland see visitfinland.com

Esko

Esko, the Mayor of Rovaniemi, the hometown of Santa Claus, located next to the Arctic Circle in Lapland, spends most of his summers with his family in their summer cottage. It is probably the most traditional way for the Finns to enjoy summer days.

“I’m happiest spending time in nature with my family. Water in all its forms and fishing are also important to me.”

Hanna

Hanna is an IT-marketing professional, who currently studies tourism economics. She is passionate about Finnish Nature and sharing it’s wonders to travellers. She lives in the Metropolitan Southern Finland, but has spent most of her summers sailing in the Archipelago and winters skiing in Lapland, so she is more than familiar with many wonders of Finnish nature.

“Enjoying the sound of the waves and the beautiful sunsets on some deserted island in the middle of the sea is where I find my happiness from.”

Juho

Juho was born and raised in Japan. Today Juho, his fiancé Marjukka and their dog Dobby live in Kirkkonummi, near Helsinki. Juho is an urban farmer and he works in both digital media and health tech business.

“Simple life in nature inspires me. I value experiencing nature through all the senses. Being present without making a sound or doing something physical in nature. Building a fire, breathing in the morning dew or feeling the soil under my feet.”

Katja

Katja is a social services student and a yoga teacher who lives in a very idyllic wooden neighborhood of Helsinki, called Käpylä. She wants to show her guests how to experience nature within the city limits.

”Meditative moments in nature. Lush forests, calm lakes and saunas. Magical encounters with nature and wildlife, such as deer and birds.”

Laura & Joni

Laura, Joni and their dog Watti are an active outdoor family who live in Sodankylä,Northern Lapland. They take daily walks in the forest and spend their weekends hiking and bicycling in the summer and skiing in the winter.

“We left Southern Finland to live closer to nature in Sodankylä. Our happiness stems from silence and nature’s constant presence. We enjoy the small-town atmosphere. We have our privacy without being completely isolated.”

Linda & Niko

Finnish couple Niko and Linda are living their life to the fullest in the middle of the Baltic Sea with their chihuahua Helmi. The couple used to live in the City, but went to the sea and Archipelago so often that they decided it was easier to move house. They currently live in Utö, the southernmost island of Finland.

“Time runs differently on our island. It seems to slow down somehow, and there is never a need for hurry.”

Petri

Petri is a physiotherapist and a nature-lover, who lives with his wife Sini and their dog Ruu in southwest Finland, in a small village called Mathildedal.

“A natural silence that enchants your mind. Being alone and present. Or a blissful post-sauna beer.”

Timo

Timo is from Lapland, currently living in Southern Finland, in a city of Hämeenlinna, with his wife Päivi and their dog Mosku. His work is very closely connected to nature, as he manages museums and exhibitions for the National Parks and Wildlife Service Finland.

“The sounds of nature, tranquility and gently lapping waves ground me. I want to share this feeling of happiness with the world. There are so many fantastic places in Finland that only locals can show you.”

New Ralong Monastery South Sikkim, Kagyupa Lineage

Dogen interpreted the Nirvana Sutra by saying that what is intrinsic to all sentient beings is the Buddha-Nature and not that all sentient beings have in them something called the Buddha-Nature. There is only Buddha-Nature, and , nothing else. Buddha-Nature = Dharma-Nature.

We only live in the present moment, an idea of a presentness in which time does not have a linear meaning. (Dwight Holbrook). Therefore, Dogen doesn’t deny the past or the future but he rejects the idea that the future and the past lie outside the sphere of the present moment. Moments or ‘uji’ do not have duration but time has…

‘Shiva, the Supreme-Being, is seated above the head in the Great Void (Mahashunya). Shakti, the Supreme Power, is seated in the centre of consciousness at the base of the spine (muladhara). Shakti flows upwards through the subtle nerve channel in the spine (sushumna)’ – Sri Anirvan, Inner Yoga

Press Release:

WTTC announces Finalists for 2017 Tourism for Tomorrow Awards

The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) is pleased to announce the 15 Finalists for its 2017 Tourism for Tomorrow Awards. The 2017 Finalists cut across five continents in the following categories: Community, Destination, Environment, Innovation and People.

The WTTC Tourism for Tomorrow Awards, now in its 13th year, showcases business practices of the highest standards that balance the needs of ‘people, planet and profits’ within our sector.

The 2017 Awards fall within the UN International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development, all 15 Finalists illustrate great commitment to “support a change in policies, business practices and consumer behavior towards a more sustainable tourism sector than can contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals”, as the International Year calls for.

Following a rigorous 3-phase judging, which includes an onsite evaluation, Winners of the 2017 Tourism for Tomorrow Awards will be announced during the Awards Ceremony at the 17th WTTC Global Summit, taking place in Bangkok, 26 – 27 April 2017.

David Scowsill, President & CEO of WTTC said: “I am extremely pleased to once again see such inspiring business leadership amongst this year’s Finalists. This year saw a 36% rise of applications, which shows not only that more and more Travel & Tourism companies are looking to operate sustainably but also an increased interest to share company best practices and thereby educate peers and governments.

As the Travel & Tourism sector continues to grow, WTTC currently estimates global Travel & Tourism to have grown by 3.1% in 2016, we have to ensure we safeguard the environment, local communities and cultural heritage, and our Awards programme calls on tourism businesses to showcase just that.”

Awards Lead Judge, Graham Miller, Executive Dean, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Surrey, said: “The 2017 Finalists illustrate how widespread the notion of sustainable tourism has become. While sustainability used to be focused around the preservation of nature, this year, the organisation’s missions are, amongst other things, centred around innovative value creation for societies, travel technology for those with accessibility needs, and empowerment of the young workforce.”

  • The J. Willard and Alice S. Marriott Foundation’s China Hospitality Education Initiative (CHEI), China

The Winner Selection Committee is chaired by Fiona Jeffery OBE, Chair of the WTTC Tourism for Tomorrow Awards and include a further 15 independent judges from within the Travel & Tourism sector.

Fiona Jeffery OBE, Tourism for Tomorrow Awards Chair, said: “Now more than ever it’s important to highlight how tourism positively connects people across the planet and brings great social and economic benefits to destinations. The 2017 Tourism for Tomorrow Award Finalists demonstrate a commitment to long term vision in preference to short term gains and provide inspiring examples of responsible leadership in their businesses. The true value of the awards is the insight and learning which can be shared across the industry and I’m looking forward to hearing their stories during the WTTC Global Summit in April 2017.”

Like a boat on a river

It felt the deep breath of a conscious universe

From Ranamahal Ghat to Kedar Ghat

Walking with the winds whistling away

The flight of the pigeons smooth like the shiva lingam

Mother Ganges

Mother Ganges

The birds flew and sat on the wires or on the parapet

Whilst the sun bathed in the Ganges

Rites of Brihadarankya from where the copper face of the moon

Will lit the thousand suns above the forehead of the Adi Guru Sankaracharya

Touching the heart of the Vajrakaya

From RanaMahal Ghat

From RanaMahal Ghat

With sound of the cow bells

Pure and electric like the lion at chowsatti yogini pitha

Vibrating like the vina at Satyalok

I heard His voice at B 14/7 Mansarobar

And He said: “The manifested Light within is the Unmanifest in the external world purely as Brahman working-without-working as a conscious revealatory experience by an act of total surrender in an intelligible force from the unknown pre-origin of the para-brahman sutra.  This, of course, is the sound of ananda expressed as a silent pulse in every wave from the Void to give Form the meaning of existence. It’s Sri Chaitanya (consciousness) doing yajna at Dashashwamedh Ghat and at Manikarnika and Assi for Satyalok/Satya Yuga to be established by the seer-force of Yogishwar Sri Kalipada Guharoy. Let the Mother be happy for all eons to come!

Postcards from Varanasi:

Images restored by words

Words restored by vibrations

Vibrations restored by yogic transmissions through ether

Ether restored by the Great Mind in the Formless Void

Formless Void restored as the Manifested World by an act of Karuna

From Kedar Ghat Post-Office the ‘quintessence of ananda’

Time is Tetra-Ionic Momentary Enlightenment for the Sake of the Self (The Brahman) in a Non-Unitary Matrix of Mind-Matter Entanglement

Physics is an object

Positioning  luminous invariance on possibility

To close the relativity of hyper-assumption. (I)

…….

When the end will shine

The classical route to pure sacred infinity

Will spread the wingless flight in delight. (II)

“Non-volatile universe (braxonixon) behind the logic-spin of  the symmetric equality offering sine-matter persistence beyond the polar-quark  accelerating scale-line bracket (violet big bang route); in the beginning the destiny was the will-neutrinos to open the cry-rest base of the natural fluid(massless-time-dock); natural fluid is the D-zero centre of gravity of the dark matter accepting electrovalent domain-boy temperatures to create luminous superpartner of the mindscape motion ,the total matter of this entire creation is called physics(proper height yellowing sectorial instruments of cosmic supernova)”. And you must forgive and forget

Exist as you become

Lie down and rest

When hoofs fall off, the grass is smeared with rain

Come again

Exit and enter

You can run many times on your own

Let the sun sink and be gone

When the flame is burn

The energy absorbed is coded by time on the surface of nanolith planck bubbles

Time, therefore, is tetra-ionic-momentary-enlightenment

Provung fradung hungyim

Provung yotring grobhuyim

Provung bakinto grambhuyim

In my memory, faith is a jump from the back of the  tortoise

By the inner condition of the hexagram

Gravity in our 3-d world

Gravity in our 3-d world

The broken lines standing for absorption

And the unbroken lines for emission

Creating a continual discontinuous process of sublime spontaneity

That, maybe, captured by the eye-of-the-seer

Through the lens the mind knows itself

And disbelieves what he sees

And dies and comes again

That flame is burning still

Future decodes via signalling entanglement

The mirror is not the conjurer but a gateway to self realisation

A momentary time-vision in a non-unitary matrix

Sculpting the riders’ final denouement in the day of everlasting light.
