Bhakti-Rasa and the Cry of the Way-Lost Child: Tracking the ‘Dance’ in the Supramental Yoga

DOING AWAY WITH THE THE I-NOTION IS THE SAME AS NOT DESIRING THE PERSONAL ATTAINMENT OF ENLIGHTENMENT. (ZERO-ENLIGHTENMENT AND THE EXTINCTION OF ME, ALL ELSE IS BONDAGE, WEI WU WEI)

Is the vast plan of which we are a part;

Its harmonies are discords to our view,

Because we know not the great themes they serve.”

(Savitri, Sri Aurobindo)

In the calmness of the morning

Light breathing through the cedar and pines

Reflects the flying birds

On the waters of the lake

Frames are tranquilized in the ethereal dolour of this vastness of experience

A profound intelligence is the restful operation on the dynamic rhythm of ‘suchness’

Spontaneous it is, the blooming lotus is the yogic ananda –anubhuti of wu nien

Things as they are…wonderfully crafted by the blessings of the Lord

In one encounter have embraced the whole existence with love

Solemnized by an utter cry of the child who has lost his way (Bhakti-Swarup)

“Who in his heartfelt yearning cries and cries”. (PILGRIMS OF THE STARS, DILIP KUMAR ROY AND INDIRA DEVI)

‘I take refuge in the wonderful law of the Lotus Sutra’

  • Founded by Japanese Monk, Nichidatsu Fuji (1885-1985), the Nipponzan Monastery at the heart of Kolkata in Lake Place is an ideal place for meditation on the Lotus Sutra, which incidentally is the last teaching of Buddha’s life.
  • The ancient link b/w India and Japan was reinstated after Rabindranath Tagore’s visit to Japan in 1916; the Poet also met Sri Mirra Alfassa in Japan who would later join Sri Aurobindo in Pondicherry.
  • Fuji was very much influenced by the writings of Nichiren and thought of travelling to India, the spiritual birthplace, to invigorate the teachings of Enlightenment. This was a difficult time here in Calcutta when the country was striving for freedom from the British Colonial Rule.
  • Fuji arrived in 1931 and walked the streets near lake place beating his drum and chanting ‘Namu Myoho Renge Kyo’.
  • He met Mahatma Gandhi in 1933 at Wardhah and shared his ideas of compassion and non-violence.
  • Industrialist and philanthropist, Sri Jugal Kishore Birla gave him land to build a monastery in 1935 which is now the Nipponzan Myohoji Buddhist Monastery at 60/1, Kabi Bharati, Kolkata 700029

“The Knowing Self is not born;
It does not die. It has not sprung from anything;
nothing has sprung from It. Birthless, eternal, everlasting,
and ancient, It is not killed when the body is killed”.

Kankali Tala Temple, Birbhum -one of the 51 Shakti-Pithas

KANKALI TALA TEMPLE -one of the most important Shakti Pithas among the historical 51 pithas. Sri Mata Parvati’s skeleton (kankal) is believed to have fallen here during the great cosmic tandava (dance/surge of Macro-cosmic energy) of Lord Shiva. Therefore, it is a spiritual center or a powerful energy-vortex.

All objects are the perceiving of them, and the perceiving of them is
what they are. It follows that the perceiving of them is not separate
from the objects, and the objects are not separate from the perceiving
of them.

Therefore, no objects exist as objects, either as phenomena or in noumenon.

APPEARING (FORM) is not an object, but a functioning. It appears as a
objectivisation.

HAPPY 2017 – As we are LINKS in the CHAIN, I open my heart to all of
you so we can walk together to see the great transformation coming to
this world. It will be a higher consciousness of technology that will
enable a sustainable living based on higher ethics and aesthetics.

Love & Peace
